No Assembly Line Here
Although Ford did not invent the automobile, or even the assembly
line, he was the first guy to perfect the later for the purpose of building
the former. And while that worked well for churning out Model-T's and deuce
roadsters, we can't apply his methods here. For us, its back to those early
days of doing things by hand. Kind of ironic.
Up front we have a Heidt's polished IFS with 12" disc
brakes, while in back we have Currie 9-inch Ford type rearend. Coilover
shocks support both.
On the left is the computer module and actuator for the Mastershift
paddle shifter set up (the cable extending out to the right will hook up
to the transmission shifter). To the right of that is the brake master cylinder
from Master Power Brakes. The unit uses a remote reservoir that will be
mounted on the firewall.
