Fiberglass requiring paint removal can be safely stripped
with plastic media. Masking the edges helps protect them during the blasting
process, leaving some minor hand work for completion.
Masking also helps keep media from getting into gaps and other
areas where it is not wanted.
Restoration work is much easier with all the metal stripped
of paint. Plastic media will strip paint without removing any bondo or lead-work
that may be hidden by paint.
As you can see, the paint is stripped without harming the
tape.
