High Energy Sound And Light Productions
We get a lot of unusual hot rods and customs that show up
in our parking lot, but Brett Harrell's 1951 ford F-7, ranks near the top.
He has turned his love of hot rods and combined it with his love of music,
and created this rolling boom-box from hell!
Brett, if you haven't guessed by now is a DJ, and this truck
is his portable sound system for outdoor events--at least we assume he only
usese it outdoors!
The F-7 body and box sits on an F-350 chassis. Under the hood
rests a 450hp 460ci Ford hooked up to a C-6 transmission. It also sports
electric mirrors, electric windows, power steering and power brakes, an
ididit tilt wheel column, and Vintage air system.
The sound system consists of an Alpine Stereo with JBL Subwoofers.
The rear has 100 gigs of all computerized music from the 40's, 50's, 60's,
Classic rock, Motown, Country and 30 others styles of music. The speakers
are the new JBL EON 450 watt's with amplifiers in each. It can hang 4 speakers
from the roof and angle them for 360 degrees of sound. The equipment is
a rack-mounted 6-channel DJ mixer with a Dual MP3 players and a rack-mounted
AM/FM radio. The equalizer has a built-in feed back killer for the microphone.
Brett can add a 32-channel Sound Craft live mixing board for bands to set
up and play on his 20x12-foot external stage.
