What to do with the rear window once the top was chopped posed
a bit of a problem. With the top chopped, the rear-window did not flow with
the projected lines of the car. The problem was solved by flipping it upside-down
so that the wide portion of the window is on top. This will also enhance
visibility out of the rear window and reduce the blind-spots in the rear
quarters.
Once the window is tacked into place, the contour and fill
work can begin.
Flipping the window also simplifies the final contouring and
give the car a completely different look while retaining the original glass
and window channel.
