Fits Like a Glove!
The seats and interior panels are of Black "Reno"
leather, hand-stiched in the Hot Rods & Custom Stuff upholstery shop.
Red loop carpet compliments the red leather piping, steering wheel and pinstriping.
The bench seat is from Wise Guys Seating.
The gears on that S-10 trans get a little help from a Swan
Neck Gennie Shifter. The hand brake and cables are Lokar, and the sppon
throttle pedal is from Pete & Jakes. The Steering column is a Flaming
River tilt model, and tucked somewhere behind the dash is a Vintage Air
compact heater/defrost unit.
Here's a nifty set of black-faced Mooneyes gauges and a 40
Ford Steering wheel. The wiring behind the gauges and throughout the rest
of the car was accomplished with help from a Painless 12-circuit wiring
kit.
Hidden in the trunk is the Optima battery and the sound system
components. The system consists of a Sony CD/MP3 player with 10 disc changer,
an Autobahn 75watt amp, a pair of Infinity 5-1/4" speakers, and a 10"
Infinity subwoofer (the back of which you can see next to the battery).
A Dakota Digital remote system opens the doors and trunk.
Once in the seat, a pair of '33 ford door pulls help you close up. Positioned
where it is, that subwoofer is bound to send a shiver up your spine.
