September 21 was supposed to be "Customer Appreciation
Night". We had sent out invitations to customers and invited them to
come down and show off their cars in return for some Dalton's BBQ. Then,
the whole week prior the weather gurus at the local news outlets started
warning of an impending storm that was to hit Friday. The "Storm of
the Year" they said. So, with the idea that Cruise Night on the 21st
would be called on account of rain, we called all of the folks we had invited
and told them that "Customer Appreciation" night would be rescheduled,
and we cancelled the Dalton's BBQ.
So, of course, it turned out to be a beautiful, rain-free
evening! A pox on weather forcasters everywhere!
Nevertheless, a few brave souls did show in the face rain
predictions.
One of those who braved the chance of rain was Even Chang.
He showed up in the '56 F-100 we built for him.

Chick Koszis' 1932 Ford Roadster "Bare Bones" is
a true road warrior that has logged over 50k miles since we built it. It
has been driven coast to coast and up in Canada and back. Chick has blog

taken along the way. We knew it would take more than a threat of rain to

When Lance Patterson restored this 56 Ford Victoria, he let
us do the paint and body work. We're glad he showed up to show it off.
This jet-black '31 Ford belongs to Bruce Snyder. It's been
a couple of years since we finished work on it, but it's still looking good.
