SSR Rear Fenders.
Since the SSR fenders are moulded as part of the outer bed
sides, and not designed as detachable body part as they were on most early
trucks, the fender has to be cut out.
Before cutting the original fender out, we weren't sure how
we'd have to proceed. It quickly became clear that all of the truck beds
outer skin would have to go and be replaced with a heavier gauge sheet metal
that we could attach the stock 3100 fenders to.
Part of this process included creating an inner fender well.
Some temporary mounting tabs for the fenders go on. These
are for mock up only so we can hang the fender and check its position.
Scott test fits the fender.
