'56 Ford F-100, Interior.
We can't offer you a 15-second "sit" test like Ford
dealers did in the 50's, but we think you'll agree we've made a few improvements
since then.
In 1953 Ford pickups received interior amenities like a dome
light, lighter, arm rests, and sun visors. We've added a few of our own;
Dakota Digital digital gauges, Vintage Air heater/defrost unit, ididit steering
column, Grant steering wheel, power adjustable seats, power windows and
a killer sound system. 15 seconds behind the wheel simply wouldn't be enough.
We even gave it a new dome light and visors. Safety was also
improved with 3-point shoulder harnesses.
Combination leather/cloth seats make for some comfy cruising.
The CD changer is tucked under the seat. On the right is a
good view of the Vintage Air heater/defroster.
