Longer, Lower, Cooler...
In order to get this Duece as low as it can go, it will be
resting on custom Deuce Steel frame. The Deuce Steel frame is a proprietary
design made by Hot Rods & Custom Stuff (that's us). It consists primarily
of stock '32 For frame rails that have been modified forward of the firewall.
The new front frame rails are longer and have more arc to them, which lowers
the driving stance about 3-inches and lengthens the frame by the same amount.
Click here for more info about Deuce
Steel frames.
New front rails are welded onto the frame while it is in the
jig.
The rear of the frame before we cut off the rear horns and
kick it up. The structure over the rear frame rails represents the floor
of the Dearborn Deuce body and serves as guide while we kick up the rear
of the frame.
Normally a Deuce steel frame would retain the rails where
they extend past the crossmember, but not in this case.
Now for the back end.
With the rear end kicked up, it's time to finish the crossmembers.
