How To Skin A Camaro.
Dave Tharp concentrates on his stitching he works on the cover
for the rear seat back.
Dave cuts patterns for the back seat upholstery. The goal
is to make the back seats match the Recaro bucket seats that were purchased
for front.
New door panels from Original Equipment Reproduction also
get new coverings.
Red stitching offers a nice accent to the black upholstery.
The fabric used for the seats and trim panels is called "Black Avus"
from On-Track Performance.
Nothing like a Recaro seat when you feel the need for speed.
Original Equipment Reproduction supplied most the interior
replacement parts like visors, door panels, and kick panels, which we then
covered. Some pieces like the headliner and trunk walls were custom made
in our upholstery shop.
The roll bar is covered in padded leather.
