The first step is to blast the body down to bare metal and
see what is lurking under all the paint and bondo. Click here if you want

As with most cars this age there is visible rust around the
window frames and in floor boards.
After blasting the paint, bondo and light rust away, the extent
of the work needed is clearly visible. Note the jagged hole that was cut
in the trans tunnel for the after-market shift kit.
Dave installs a new dash panel and repairs the damage around
the windshield frame.
The new fron end is mocked up to make sure it will fit properly.
