Taillights

68 Camaro body.

Taillights are always something of a conundrum on a custom car. Since the rear is a part of the car many are going to be looking at as it leaves them behind, people always want to do something cool, or at least different. Finding that right combination of "cool" and "different" can be a challenge and usually involves a whole series of mock-up in carboard before a decision is made.

Perhaps a variation on the stock lights, a skinny rectangle with angled ends...

Alternative Custom Parts tail light inserts.

It was finally decided to go with tailight panel from a 69 Camaro, available from Dynacorn International, with Alternative Custom "Rally Sport" tail light inserts.

While we are back here, we might as well do something cool with the exhaust, too. The exhaut pipe port was custom made by one of our fabricators.
