"Inferno" Camaro - Bodywork

Camaro body in DP90 Bodywork on right rear fender.

Once the body is primered, repairs can begin.

Metal work on left rear fender.

More damage that was hidden under a generous application of bondo. Proper metal repair are important for the life of the restoration. If damage like this is not properly fixed, the cracks and crevases in these bad welds will become breeding areas for rust. Those areas have to be filled with metal and then ground smooth so that primer can properly seal out all moisture. Proper body preparation like this will be the key to a beautiful and lasting paint job.

Once the bad welds and patchhes are fixed, it is time to smooth it all out by sanding. Lots of sanding!
