When a shop has built a Ridler Award-winning vehicle, you know more special vehicles are in line. Such is the case of Randy Clark, Owner of Hot Rods & Custom Stuff in Escondido, California. The next radical custom that will emerge from his shop is this '53 Ford F-100. The Effie's Chassis has been fully boxed out and fitted with a Kugel Komponents polished stainless steel IFS. In the rear is a four-bar suspension setup comprised of TCI components that cradle the Currie 9-inch rearend. Bringing the Ford to a halt are huge Wilwood disc brakes.
Power comes in the form of a '57 KD 325 Hemi that has been fitted with two four-barrel 500cfm Edelbrock carbs. Mated to the Hemi is a Richmond five-speed transmission.
If you want to check out this or any other fine rides that Clark and his crew are working on, stop by Hot Rods & Custom Stuff at 2324 Vineyard Ave., Escondido, CA 92029, 760/745-1170, or visit its website at www.hotrodscustomstuff.com.
