These rear body panels show the condition of the wood pretty
well. The wood will need refinishing or replacement, but how much is is
hard to tell. That will be left up to Iron Mountain Woodworks in Gardena,
On this side some of the wood was salvageable while other
pieces were not and had to be replaced. All of thes replacement pieces have
to be made by hand at Iron Mountain using the originals as templates.
Even back in 1939 they used wood veneer. The Veneer on this
panel (left) will be replaced with the new stuff on the right.
