Welcome To The Hood...

You're probably wondering why we would cover up the cowl vents. Because we got rid of the cowl, that's why.

Well, we didn't exactly get rid of it. We modified it and welded it to the back of the hood to make the hood longer.

The next question that you might ask is, "how will you get fresh air into the car?" That's what windows are for! Besides, the Vintage Air unit we will be installing does not draw on outside air so it will not be effected. Like the "recirc" setting on modern factory AC systems it draws and recirculates air from the cabin.

Some new hood-hinges from Ame Performance Engineering.
