Getting Blasted...

Firebird body, moving to blast booth.

As with any restoration, we have to start by blasting it clean of paint and other materials. We use plastic media, the safest and most enviromentally friedly method available. Click here to find out more about plastic media blasting.

Plastic media will even remove bondo. We are almost always suprised at what we find under paint, but the Firebird has none for us this time.

Dents in RR fender. Rust damage in rear window channel.

The only significant rust is in the corners of the window channels, and even that is not at bad as we usually see.
