1964 Chevrolet Apache C10 Pickup Truck - Disassembly

Truck with front fenders, hood and grill removed.

Disassembly is where the fun begins. You never know what you are going to find when you start pulling parts off; mumified rodents, old coins, and live vintage ammo are just a few of the things we've come accross. Nothing too scary or interesting popped up this time though.

Front fenders and grill on ground.

This is also when you find out how just how much work the restoration will actually be. Lots of problems just cannot be identified till you get the body apart and you can examine everything up close.

Primered cab on frame.

After disassembly the body gets blasted with plastic media to remove the paint and rust. That done, it then gets primered.

Chalk marks on cab showing work to be done. Inside of cab.

Chalk marks identify areas to be fixed by the bodyshop.
