It was a hot August night when Hot Rods & Custom Stuff
Sponsored another Cruisin' Grand Ave., here in Escondido. Fortunately it
was not as hot as the previous week, but it was still pretty warm.
For this Cruise Night we invited all of our former customers
to come on down and show off their cars. We had the north side of Broadway
to ourselves and our customers rides this time. We ended up with 22 HRCS
classic rides gathered in one place.
So how did we get 22 customers to show off their rides for
us? We offered them free food catered by Dalton's Roadhouse, of course.
Hot rodders will cruise anywhere if there are free burgers and sodas at
the end of the road.
The Dalton's Road Crew kept everyone fat and happy.
Becky and Gary manned the t-shirt sales table, and we brought
one of our Deuce Steel rollers for people to see.
Now that's a line-up.
