Hood Hinge Installation
The hood-hinge/latch combo for the 3-piece hood is from Dan
Fink Metalworks. This kit allows the hood to flip up from either side with
a built-in support, or to be removed completely. The photo on the right
shows the Lokar felxible transmission dipdtick. Stainless steel lines are
to be used for the AC unit.
The releases for the hood latches run through each side of
the firewall. Under the dash on each side is separate release knob--pull
the one for the side you want to release.
There is a hood prop rod on each side that fits into a clip
in the hinge frame for storage.
