'55 Cameo
The original steering column was replaced with a 32"
steel ididt. The custom billet Gauge set came from Brother's and really
looks nice set into the two-tone dash. Upgrades include a Vintage Air Surfit
AC kit, LectraGlide II power windows with Hotronics switches and a Custom
Auto Sound stereo system.
Lokar pedals and a 16" Gennie Ultra Shifter complete
the interior. Dynamat insulation keeps the cab cool and road-noise free.
Nothing beats the look of bed finished in wood and chrome.
The power package started with an Edelbrock aspirated Chevy
350 with Enos headers and Zoops wire loom. Old wiring was replaced with
a 12-circuit Painless Wiring kit. Radiator, fan and shroud are from Walker
Radiator. The firewall had to be replaced so we went with a fiberglass one
from No Limit.
The transmission is a Turbo 400 which send power to the rear
wheels through a stock GM 12-bolt rear end. The gas tank is from no limit.
Exhaust work was done by Wholesale Tube Bending.
