Windows On The World... of Rodding
Smoked back glass and graded-tint front glass will help keep
things cool inside and out. Those tri-year Chevy's had lots of glass to
look through.
Rear bumper's on. And check out the dual optima's in the trunk
- this bad boy is going to need both. And the front-end is going back together
- again.
One thing people don't realize about a complete restoration
is that most of the body welds are eliminated. At the factory, many body
parts are tack-welded to other body parts, like the inner fender wells to
the fenders for example. Those old welds are separated during disassembly.
During reassembly, stainless-steel nuts, bolts and screws are used in place
of welding.
