Mr. Murphy's 1969 Chevrolet Camaro
This project was a complete top to bottom restoration. The
result is on lean, mean Muscle Machine.
The car was kept fairly stock in terms of bodywork. The original
hood was replaced by a Goodmark Industries cowl induction type. Since the
bottom of the car was rusted out we replaced floor and trunk pans with aftermarkets
from the Car Shop and Year One. We also reinforced the sub-frame of this
GM unibody.
That classic Camaro nose and grill are a large part of this
car's appeal. It just screams, "Muscle Car!"
In addition to the hood, we replaced the trunk lid with a
spoiler version that adds that final styling touch.
Bigs and littles, of course. The wheel wells were tubbed slightly
to accomodate the rear tires. Bilstein shocks and Eaton coil spring keep
the tires on the road where they belong.
