Interior Touch-Ups.
Before we can turn the lights on we need new wiring. For that
we rely on Painless Wiring. In this case an 18circuit kit. That wiring extends
to the Flaming River tilt steering column.
Tucked behind the dash is a Kugel power-brake booster and
master-cylinder. We are also adding a lower extension to the dash panel
so we can insert AC vents without cutting into that classic Nomad dash.
It also allows more room to run the ducts for the AC and keep them out of
sight.
Because the brake booster will take up space formerly used
by the glove compartment, we are installing the stereo controls and a couple
of Dakota Digital gauges (voltage and oil pressure) into the back of the
compartment door.
Looks good.
Time to nail down the final position for those Glide Engineering
seats.
