Getting a New Frame.
Back from the body shop, the fab shop guys manage to sneak
the body onto its new frame before the photographer could get pics.
The new frame is from Art Morrison and is special made for
Tri-Five Chevy's.
The rear floor will be installed by the fabrication shop because
we have a few custom "fabs" to work into it. C.A.R.S. Inc., is
where we picked up the new floors and other panel replacements.
That's better. It used to be that all those holes would have
been patched. But these days it is easier to buy pre-fabbed replacement
floors and make it like new. Aftermarket companies really have made things
easier, and cheaper.
Glide Engineering seats will be used to replace the old factory
ones. Here they are set in place to mock up locations. The Mattson's radiator
is also installed.
